Every submitted work is examined through our proprietary five-layer framework:

Examination of the work's origin and development.
2. Process Verification
Review of available evidence documenting how the work was created.
3. Human Intent Mapping
Examination of the author's creative intent, decisions, and contribution.
4. AI Interface Analysis
Assessment of the role, if any, of artificial intelligence in the creation or development of the work.
5. Authorship Certification
Institutional review and certification of the work within the Upland Authorship Standard™.
Approved works receive an official Upland authentication record and are entered into the Catalog of Record™.
