THE UPLAND RECORD Your story, thoughtfully told. Your work, considered in full. Your book introduces your ideas. The Upland Record brings the person behind them into view. This private storytelling commission helps published authors develop a cohesive portfolio through thoughtful interviews, editorial care, and carefully produced experiences. Each chapter reveals another dimension of your life and work, giving audiences more ways to discover your perspective. THE PROCESS Begin with a one-hour virtual introductory conversation to explore your story, goals, and preferred portfolio tier. This appointment introduces the commission; it is not the full service. Once your commission is confirmed, three scheduled development sessions guide the narrative, supporting materials, and production plan. YOUR PORTFOLIO The foundational commission includes: • Books Are The New Rich: A professionally edited audio conversation exploring the person behind the pages. • House of Storytelling: A scheduled speaking appearance within an Upland gathering. • Oliver H. Journal: A quarterly editorial entry presenting your story, ideas, and work. • Catalog of Record: An entry documenting your work cementing your legacy The documentary-inclusive tier adds an Upland Originals mini-documentary exploring the experiences, places, and convictions that shaped your work. DELIVERY Allow approximately four months for the foundational portfolio and up to eight months when adding the mini-documentary. Your schedule is confirmed during planning and depends on timely materials, approvals, production needs, and publication and event dates. FILMING & TRAVEL Upland Studios is based in New Mexico. Filming is arranged in your area at agreed locations; New Mexico filming may also be arranged. Travel, accommodation, and location expenses are not included and are quoted separately for approval. USAGE Clients may share approved finished materials on their websites, social channels, press kits, and in presentations, with Upland Studios credited. Delivered files and usage permissions are confirmed in writing. Re-editing, paid advertising, resale, third-party licensing, and raw footage require separate agreement. Licensed materials retain their applicable restrictions. Final scope and costs are confirmed before production. Includes commissioned features within Upland’s platforms; book sales, outside media coverage, and additional speaking bookings are not guaranteed. Let's Discuss Your Record!
Cancellation Policy
Terms & Conditions for Consulting Services These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern the consulting services provided by April Sheris and Upland Studios ("Consultant," "we," "us," or "our") to clients ("Client," "you," or "your"). By booking a consulting service, you agree to the following terms: 1. Services Provided April Sheris offers consulting services related to IP Authentication, Bespoke Legacy Publishing, and digital asset strategies. 2. Payment & Booking Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. No services will be rendered without full payment. All payments are processed securely through our designated payment platform. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling If you need to reschedule, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of your session may be subject to availability but are not guaranteed. No-shows or late arrivals beyond 15 minutes will forfeit the session with no refund or rescheduling. 4. No Refund Policy All sales are final. Due to the nature of consulting services, we do not offer refunds once a session has been booked. If you cannot attend a scheduled session, we encourage you to reschedule within our policy timeframe. 5. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality Any materials, strategies, or guidance provided during consulting sessions are for personal use only and may not be shared, reproduced, or resold. We respect client confidentiality and will not disclose your project details without consent. 6. Limitation of Liability We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes from implementing strategies. You are responsible for your own business decisions and execution of strategies discussed during sessions. 7.
