Kiss, Marry, Block — The Power of Choosing You

This morning, I woke up in a linen cloud, sunlight dripping onto my skin like honey, the scent of fresh jasmine flirting with my senses. There were no alarms—only alignment. My phone didn’t buzz with unread messages, unpaid bills, or unspoken obligations. Instead, it held a single reminder: You’re living the life you once dreamt of.
So naturally, I brewed tea, slipped into a silk robe, and started thinking about love.
But not love in the Romeo + Juliet, meet-cute-in-the-rain kind of way. I mean the choices we make every day that define our story. The people, habits, and memories we kiss, marry, or block as we bloom into the woman we were always meant to be.

Kiss
Kiss the chaos that taught you clarity. The flings that weren’t forever but felt like fireworks. The messy mornings, impulsive trips, the audacity of your younger self to want more. She was brave. You’re bolder now.
Marry
Marry peace. Marry purpose. Marry the version of yourself that no longer asks for permission to be full. Marry rituals—like journaling at dawn or saying "no" without an essay. Marry someone (or something) that makes your nervous system feel like jazz on Sunday.
Block
Block doubt. Block the need to prove your worth in rooms too small for your voice. Block every "maybe" that ever watered down your magic. And if needed—block that one ex who still lurks on your stories.
Because the truth is, the dream life isn’t always a Parisian terrace and designer heels (although, let’s be honest, that helps). Sometimes, it’s a quiet morning where you finally choose you.
And darling, that’s the kind of plot twist anyone would write about.
